OARI acts as the internal and external hub for applied research activity at the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar. OARI exists to facilitate the research activities of the college community by:
Delivering on CNA-Q's community initiative to support applied research that contributes to the social and economic growth of the State of Qatar
Assisting the CNA-Q research community in securing funding for research projects
Acting as a liaison between the CNA-Q research community and the Qatar’s government, industry and other sectors to foster relationships that innovatively problem solve for local community and industry
Promoting CNA-Q student involvement in research activities through the use of applied research as a vehicle for developing student research skills and workplace readiness (Applied Research = Applied Learning Model)
Administering research projects and contracts to ensure fiscal responsibility and timely and accurate delivery of results
Communicating the accomplishments of applied research activities at CNA- through seminars, publications and news
