The Process Automation Engineering Technology three-year diploma program combines technical problem solving abilities, an appreciation for working in a team environment and an aptitude for hands-on work. Graduates will work closely with engineers, technologists, technicians and tradespersons. Process Automation Engineering Technologists rely on strong technical knowledge of the design and operation of process instrumentation and control systems and hands-on skills in the repair and maintenance of a variety of these systems, including microprocessor-based process field instrumentation and programmable control systems.
Students can exit after two years to achieve Process Automation Technician two-year diploma.
