This is a four-year Applied Science degree with concentrations that will lead the graduates into specific jobs within the field of Information Systems such as: Software Development, Mobile and Web Development, Database Design & Administration. All students on this program will study the generic Information Technology (IT) courses, which in combination with the Information Systems courses will enable them to both understand and contribute to the information technology context in which Information Systems functions are performed. The interdisciplinary term "Information Systems" relates to the integration of information technology solutions and business processes to meet the information needs of businesses and other enterprises. The 'Applied' nature of the program is reflected in the hands-on experiential education which is reinforced through the work experience and Capstone Project practicum components of this program.
You may choose to exit the Bachelor’s degree with a diploma after successful completion of all diploma requirements.
