The Diploma in Digital Marketing (Dip. DM) 2-year program prepares graduates with the knowledge, skills and competencies needed for a career in digital marketing.

After completing this hands-on diploma program, graduates will possess a foundation in digital marketing (DM) platforms, tools and techniques. They will be well-positioned to create content and assist with the development and execution of marketing campaigns and strategies. Students gain hands-on experiential learning through applied assignments and a required 6-week DM work placement.

Graduates of the Diploma in Digital Marketing (Dip. DM) are eligible for entrance into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Business Administration in Digital Marketing (B.A.BA DM) program.

Objectives

  1. Communicate product, customer, and company information based on received queries.
  2. Use secondary research to gain knowledge about marketing trends such as new product developments and customer preferences, and the competitive marketing landscape.
  3. Conduct primary research, contributing to business reports.
  4. Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing initiatives, integrating digital and social media tools. 
  5. Assist in the preparation, coordination, collection, production, supervision, and follow-up of promotions and events.
  6. Recognize the importance of ethical practices in marketing.
  7. Liaise with internal and external contacts regarding meetings and events.
  8. Communicate with others in a professional manner, using oral, written, and graphical skills to effectively present ideas and recommendations based on one’s audience.
  9. Apply program skills and concepts in the workplace.

Entrance requirements


  1. High school graduation certificate or equivalent approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education with a minimum average of 60%; OR

  2. One-year Advanced Accounting Diploma from CNA-Q, or equivalent.


Note: Admission is competitive. Eligible applicants are ranked based on their overall final year (Grade 12 or equivalent) high school percentage, placement tests rankings, and Admission Priority Category.


Language proficiency Requirements


  1. The required score on the University English Placement Test or a passing score from another approved internationally recognized English language test, as validated by the Admissions & Registration Department; OR


  2. A valid (within two years) IELTS Academic Test Report Form with an overall band of 5.0 with no individual band score (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) below 5.0; OR

  3. Successful completion of Foundation Program requirements.

Mathematics Requirement:

  1. A minimum of 60% on the University Math Placement Test; OR
  2. A valid SAT Report Form with a minimum score of 480; OR
  3. Successful completion of Foundation Program requirements.
