The Bachelor of Applied Business Administration in Human Resources Management (B.A.BA HRM) is a 4-year program that prepares graduates to embark on a professional career path in human resources (HR) and related professions. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of HR functions and develop management competencies in areas such as recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, organizational development, employee training and development, HR analytics, psychographics, change management, and workforce planning. Through experiential learning, students will work in multi-disciplinary teams in most of the HRM specific courses. The program also includes an on-the-job HRM work placement, allowing students to gain in-depth work experience in the field of business administration, with a specific focus on human resource management (HRM). In the final year, students will demonstrate the breadth and depth of their skills and knowledge in an applied HRM capstone project.
Duration: Four years
In year three of the B.A.BA HRM program students concentrate in one of two areas:
