The College of the North Atlantic – Qatar’s Foundation Program instills in learners the fundamental knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to prepare them to succeed in the College’s programs.



International Accreditation

English Language Programs of the Foundation Studies Unit at the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation for the period August 2016 through August 2026 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency for English language programs and institutions in the U.S.

Entrance Requirements

All students admitted to CNA-Q must complete an entrance examination to access their proficiency in English and mathematics.

The CNA-Q Testing Centre oversees all academic and placement test in English and math for current and prospective students. The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Centre is also a part of our campus to offer English proficiency tests that are recognized by over 6,000 universities, employers and immigration authorities.​
