All four diploma programs in the School of Information Technology are accredited by the Canadian Information Processing Society (CIPS). CIPS originated in 1958 with the goal of creating a network for I.T. professionals to share best practices and build professionalism in the industry. CIPS offers the Information Systems Professional of Canada (I.S.P.) designation, which is acknowledged in Asia, US and Europe. Many faculty members in the School of Information Technology are accredited CIPS professionals.
For those wishing to pursue a baccalaureate degree, CNA-Q has arrangements with many universities world-wide, allowing our students to continue their studies in the Information Technology field. Former students have continued their studies at University of Derby (United Kingdom), University of the Fraser Valley (Canada), and Asia Pacific University of Science and Technology (Malaysia).
