His Excellency Dr. Dr. Mohamed bin Saleh Al-Sada, Chair of the Board of College of the North Atlantic – Qatar, paid a visit to the campus on Wednesday. Dr. Al-Sada toured Engineering and Health Sciences labs.
“I have been involved in this College since its inception,” said Dr. Al-Sada. ”I am always impressed with the facilities when I visit. I am even more impressed with the resilience of the students this time because of COVID-19. It is good to see so many safety measures in place to protect students and employees.”
Dr. Al-Sada’s visit comes at a busy time for CNA-Q. The College was recently granted approval to offer Applied Bachelor Degrees - a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Maintenance Engineering Technology, a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration in Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiography.
“I am also pleased to tell you that we are now in the advanced stages of preparing to transform the College into an applied university,” said a beaming Dr. Al-Sada.
CNA-Q is the product of an extremely successful and constructive partnership between the State of Qatar and the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in Canada.
CNA-Q has graduated thousands of students who were ready to enter the workforce because of the hands-on training they received at the College, or went on to pursue further studies in their fields of specialization.
