Work Term is an important academic course that aims to integrate student’s academic study with work experience. Therefore, the Work Term Supervisor is expected to provide the student with a meaningful work experience that puts theory into practice, by meeting the following requirements and responsibilities:
The student must have a Direct Supervisor to report to.
The student must have a workstation (computer, desk).
The Supervisor must meet regularly with the student to provide clear direction and support for assigned duties.
The Supervisor must review and sign each weekly report.
The Supervisor must meet with a CNA-Q instructor who will visit the company during the Wort Term course.
The Supervisor must evaluate the student at the end of the Work Term by completing a final evaluation.
