What is a Skills Competition?

The Skills Competition is an international competition, managed by WorldSkills. These competitions are held around the world to showcase and inspire world-class excellence in skills and introduce youth to a variety of skilled careers.

A Skills Competition is a unique and interesting way to demonstrate what you have learned here at CNA-Q.

QAPCO, UNEVOC-Qatar and CNA-Q would like to build Qatar National Skills Competition program. It is our vision that one day, Qatar can send champions to the Regional GCC competition and then to the Worldskills competition to compete against the world. By competing at CNA-Q now, you are helping us to build a national program for the future!


Why register?


A skills competition gives you the chance to showcase your new ideas, talent and motivation to succeed. It also builds your character, confidence, and self-esteem.

Winners will receive the following: 

Prizes for first, second and third place in a competition
Announcement of winners’ names in Qatar’s newspapers
The chance to go to Canada to view the 2018 Skills Canada National Competition at the end of May
All participants will receive a certificate
