CNA-Q's vibrant campus life is a highlight for students. While we believe academics come first, having a fun social life is a vital part of your post-secondary experience.  The Student Life Department organizes weekly co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to help students connect with each other and their own interests.

The Student Life Division at CNA-Q provides students with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and involvement opportunities that enhance their education, and personal and professional development outside of the formal classroom setting.

The Student Life Team consists of three Student Development Officers and the Coordinator of Student Life.

Drop by and see us! It would be our pleasure to help you get involved in campus life!

Student leadership

There are plenty of opportunities for students to become involved with campus life and develop their leadership abilities. One of our main initiatives is the Leadership Training program sponsored by one of our main student sponsors, Qatar Petrochemical Company. Students take the eight-week workshop to be trained in leadership competencies such as: diplomacy, event/ project management, team building and mentoring.

The Students' Representative Council (SRC) is a group of student leaders, voted by their peers in the student body. SRC represents the student population and is the collective voice of students on campus.

The SRC is responsible for:

  • Working with College staff and administration to represent, promote and advocate for common student interests

  • Operating as a democratic and representative forum through which students may address College-related issues affecting the student body

  • Promoting social responsibilities between and among the SRC and student body

  • Creating and promoting a greater degree of unity, respect, spirit and co-operation among students, faculty, staff and administration.
