1. What is online registration? 
Online registration allows students to enroll in their courses and pay their fees (for non-sponsored students) without having to appear in person. 
2. How do I register online? 
Online registration is available to eligible students on the same dates that students would normally register in person. The registration dates will be posted on the Online Registration site and sent to you via SMS. To register online, visit www.cna-qatar.com/registration
3. What if I don’t want to register online, can I still register in person? 
No. Registration will be available online only. 
4. I don’t have a credit card. How can I register online? 
To ensure online payment is easier for students, starting in Winter 2019, you may pay with your credit card or debit card. Additionally, we are now offering students the opportunity to enroll now and pay later. At the time of online registration, you may pay in part or in full, or you may defer your payment to a later date. You can also come into the Finance Office to pay in person
5. What do I need to register?
You will need access to the online registration website, your CNA-Q Student ID number and your Qatar National ID number. 
6. When can I register for classes? 
Registration is at the beginning of each term. Check the academic calendar . An email and SMS will also be sent to all students. 
7. What do I do if I get an error message during registration? 
Don’t worry. Errors do sometimes occur. Depending on the error message, you will need to contact your Program Advisor/Lead or the Registrar’s Office. If you are unsure, contact the Registrar’s Office at 44952003 or 44952005 Sunday – Thursday between 7:30 am and 3:00 pm or email registrationhelp@cna-qatar.edu.qa
8. I tried to register online but was not able to. What went wrong? 
There can be a number of reasons that online registration was not successful:

Check the website for registration dates.
You have unpaid tuition and fees or outstanding balances on your student account from a previous term.
Pay your outstanding balance using the Student Self Service portal and continue with registration.
There may be a registration ‘hold’ on your file.

9. My schedule shows a course that I have already completed. What do I do? 
You need to contact your Program Advisor/Program Lead. 
10. When are fees due?
Sponsored students do not need to pay fees as long as their sponsoring company has sent the details of their sponsorship to the Sponsor Coordinator at the Registrar’s Office before the start of registration. Non-sponsored students should pay their fees as soon as possible and before the end of the term. If you have an outstanding balance at the end of the term, you will not be allowed to register for the next term, and you will not be able to access your grades. 
11. What if I cannot afford to pay my fees at the time of registration? 
Non-sponsored students can opt to pay their fees at a later date, but before the end of the term. 
12. What is my CNA-Q Student ID number? 
Your student ID number was assigned to you when you applied to CNA-Q. It is printed on your Student ID card.
 If you are a new student, you will find your Student ID number is the 600##### in your Admission Offer letter and Application Self Service letter. You can also go to the Online Registration page and click Forgot Your Student ID? Click Here to send an SMS to the mobile number you provided in your application. 
13. When is the first day of classes?

15. How can I add or drop a course? 
You cannot currently add/drop online. Please see your Program Lead/Advisor to add or drop a course. 
16. Where do I get my schedule? 
As soon as you enroll, you will be able to view your schedule. After that, your class schedule will be available on the Student Self Service portal. 
17. Where do I get my books?
All books and class materials can be purchased at the campus bookstore in Building 16. Your class schedule will list the required books for each class.
