HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS is a blended learning delivery method that uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.

The goal of the HeartCode PALS activity is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved health outcomes.Upon successful completion of the HeartCode online portion of the activity, including the activity exam, students will receive a printable certificate of HeartCode online completion. They must present this HeartCode PALS online certification for entry into an instructor-led hands-on session.

The students will attend an instructor-led hands-on session with an American Heart Association Basic Life Supports (AHA BLS) instructor where they will practice and test their Heartcode PALS skills to demonstrate proficiency.
