Emergency Contact Information
and Tips - Be Prepared!

From time to time there are periods of political and social unrest in various countries throughout the world. It is at times like this that we ask ourselves the question, "In the event of a natural disaster or of a civil emergency, am I as prepared as I can be?"

The College of the North Atlantic-Qatar (CNA-Q) is encouraging all of its present and new employees, to become familiar with the information and recommendations found in the links below.

It is the responsibility of the employee to ensure they are prepared, by completing the steps as recommended. The employees should follow the same steps for each family member living in or moving to Qatar.

Registration of Canadians Abroad

Every Canadian living outside their home country should register with the Canadian Embassy - including all dependants. This can be done by going to the following link:

https://www.voyage2.gc.ca/Registration_inscription/Register_Inscrire/Login_ouvrir-une-session-eng.aspx?fwd=true&hash=p0V4sJhYtXNnDsAOImpW8w6161.

Ensure that the information registered is always current.

The Embassy of Canada in Doha is considered a micro-mission, which means that not all services normally provided at a classic mission are currently provided in Qatar. The Embassy of Canada in Kuwait maintains responsibility for consular matters for Canadians living in Qatar.

For Canadians living in Qatar, the embassy is located in Kuwait - contact information is provided below.
