The Main Library, located in Building 14, is the state-of-the-art reference and research centre that supports the College's curriculum. Here, students have access to a comprehensive collection of reference and circulating books, journals and multimedia materials, as well as an extensive digital collection of online research databases and electronic books (e-books). The library's 30 computer workstations, 8 individual study rooms, 2 group study rooms with plasma screens, laptops for loan, and quiet areas make it a central and integral resource for students and faculty.
Building 3 is the home of the new Learning Commons - a collaborative space providing student-centered support in the areas of Math, Language, Writing, Career Counselling, IT and Information & Research. Students receive tutoring and assistance in an open-concept, dynamic and welcoming environment promoting group study, collaboration and use of the latest technologies. The Commons is equipped with computer workstations, group and individual study rooms with plasma screens, and laptops for loan. Coming soon is an open IT Lab and specialized learning and research computer stations. Library services provided in the Learning Commons include a collection of print and journal material to support academic foundation skills, independent learning and recreational reading. With dedicated research stations, the Commons is also the premier site for the College's Virtual Library - the online collection of specialized research databases, e-books and Internet resources.
Supporting the Pre-Nursing Program at the Al-Rayyan Campus, the library provides a specialized collection of reference and circulating books and journals in the areas of pre-nursing. health sciences and English language learning. Students also enjoy access to the College's extensive collection of electronic databases and electronic books. The library is equipped with 5 computer workstations, group and individual study areas and comfortable seating.
