Welcome to the Centre for Banking and Financial Studies!
The Centre for Banking and Financial Studies provides credit and non-credit programming for people working or aspiring to work in the banking and financial services industry in Qatar. We offer a two-year Diploma Program in banking, thirteen-week Induction programs in Banking, Islamic Banking, as well as job specific training for Tellers and Customer Service Agents. We also offer several short training courses covering a variety of banking and finance-related topics. If our existing courses and programs do not adequately meet your needs, we can develop relevant, customized courses and programs for your financial institution.
Our training facilities are world class with two state of the art Model Branches where industry standard equipment like safes, cash counting machines, queuing systems are used to provide trainees a ‘hands on’ experience in a simulated branch environment.
Our courses and programs incorporate rules, regulations and practices relevant to the Qatar financial industry, enabling trainees to work effectively in the local industry. Our instructors are seasoned professionals from the banking and financial industry and use a student-centered approach in delivering academic and corporate training courses. We have trained over 300 practicing and aspiring bankers over the past year and expect to a similar number during the coming year.
